On November 10, Premier Pallister and Dr. Roussin (Chief Public Health Officer) announced that effective Thursday, November 12, all of Manitoba is being placed into Critical Level – Red within Manitoba’s Pandemic Response System. There are no announced changes to the operation of schools at this time, with the exception of a suspension of after school extra-curriculars, including athletic activities.
The following restricted level measures are still in effect for schools:
- Blended learning for Grades 9 to 12 where distancing cannot be achieved will continue as per status quo.
- All other public health measures are still in effect.
- Schools are advised to ensure as much physical distancing as possible (2 meters).
