Dear Whitmore Families,
I am writing to share that our school will continue to do the important work that we have always done to support our students. We recognize the importance of learning about our cultures and how this makes Canada a better place. We will continue to work in partnership with families to ensure students are proud of their culture and feel safe in our school community. We will not let the recent hurtful comments stay with us. We will heal and move forward together.
We know that teaching and celebrating student success in the Circle of Courage makes us strong and resilient. We will not stop this important way of being because we all deserve Minopimatasawin, to live a good life!
