The Hon. Wayne Ewasko, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Learning, has proclaimed the month of May, 2022 as "Music Month" in recognition of the important contributions of musicians, music educators and music education programs in our schools and communities. Recently, the Terry Fox Foundation sent our Division a letter of gratitude for raising just over $2,000 for the 2021 Terry Fox School Run. MVSD is proud of our school communities in their efforts to support cancer research!

As our communities and school division emerge from the challenges of COVID-19, MVSD is looking forward to planning for the 2022-2023 school year. Mountain View School Division will lower its flags to half-mast on Thursday, April 28, 2022 to mark the Day of Mourning, which is dedicated to remember and honour those who lost their lives or were injured in the workplace.
